EarthCODE at IGARSS 2024

EarthCODE participated at the International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium 2024. The conference, attended by almost 4000 participants, was hosted by the National Observatory of Athens, with the support of the National Technical University of Athens and the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas.

The event  theme was “Acting for Sustainability and Resilience”. EarthCODE was presented at the ESA Booth by Anca Anghelea from ESA EO, as well as in a poster session by the Garin Smith from Telespazio UK. The presentations raised the interest of the community, and we had a great time exchanging on ways to approach reproducibility of research, discovery of research outcomes openly via catalogues, and access to computational platforms via the ESA sponsoring mechanism - Network of Resources
